Abstract

Educational service quality plays a role in improving educational satisfaction and learning outcomes of trainees receiving education at vocational schools. This research aims to analyze the impact of educational service quality on both student satisfaction and learning outcomes. The factors that determine the quality of educational services were divided into reliability, tangibility, empathy, instructor qualifications, and educational content. For the study, a survey was conducted among trainees who had completed or were currently training at a vocational school in Yangsan City. SmartPLS 4.0 was used for statistical analysis of the survey and testing of hypotheses. To summarize the results of the study, First, reliability had a significant effect on educational satisfaction. Second, tangibility had a significant effect on educational satisfaction. Third, empathy had a significant effect on educational satisfaction. Fourth, instructor qualifications had a significant effect on educational satisfaction. Fifth, educational content had a playful effect on educational satisfaction. Sixth, educational satisfaction had a significant effect on learning outcomes. Based on the educational content to be delivered through this study, empathy and reliability with trainees should be secured, instructors should strive to improve instructor qualifications to deliver the educational content, and continuously manage facilities and equipment. Ultimately, educational satisfaction and learning outcomes must be improved.
