Abstract
While interest in non-face-to-face medical care is increasing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the telemedicine industry and market are not expanding in Korea due to telemedicine regulations. However, the non-face-to-face healthcare service market is growing quickly in the global healthcare industry, especially in the silver economy for the elderly. Meanwhile, in Korea, research and development in related fields is expected to gain momentum as the Ministry of Health and Welfare recently announced a policy to expand exceptions for non-face-to-face medical treatment. Accordingly, this study dealt with the conception and design process of a non-face-to-face data transmission and reception system through a healthcare app within the scope of the current medical law regulations. Specifically, this study involves developing an app for non-face-to-face healthcare that enables elderly people in facilities and institutions to communicate smoothly with their families, and using it to create an environment that can activate two-way communication between patients, nursing facility and institution officials, and patient guardians. In addition, the UI and UX were strengthened during the system design process, and a conception and design process that enabled flexible participation of various data stakeholders was also presented. The results of this research demonstrate that the advantage is that it ensures the flexibility to allow customization through consultation with various data stakeholders, and that it secures the function of 'communication', which is not included in the long-term care system for the elderly operated by the National Health Insurance Corporation. is expected to be competitive.
